Referral

To ensure all patients are seen according to the urgency of their condition, Dr Younis triages all referrals as they are received. It is important to include any related pathology or imaging reports to ensure all information is assessed before triage. Referral can be emailed to hello@gaiagynaecology.com.au

Booking Confirmation

After your referral has been triaged by Dr Younis, we will phone you to arrange an appropriately timed appointment. Once the appointment has been made, we will send a confirmation email which will include:

• –        Date and time of appointment

• –        Our location and details about parking

• –        Fee outline

• –        Procedure information (if required)

• –        Patient details form (this can be returned via email or brought with you on the day)

Your Appointment

To your appointment, please bring any additional pathology or imaging that has been undertaken, as well as any previous specialist letters or reports that may be relevant to your care.

While we aim to stay within the allotted appointment timeframe, some patients do require additional care or information on the day which can lead to delays. Please be assured that when the time comes for your appointment, you will also receive the highest level of care and management.

If you have particular time constraints, please feel free to phone the rooms before your appointment and we can give you an indication of how the appointments are running.

Cancellations

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space in our diary that is no longer available to another patient. 

We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Out of respect for Dr Younis, our staff and our other patients, please phone us as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.
