In-Rooms Procedures
Dr Younis enjoys the management of all areas of gynaecology.
Including, but not limited to:
- Irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding
- Abnormal cervical screening (CST – previously PAP Smear)
- Pelvic Pain
- Contraception
- Menopause
Dr Younis offers a range of in-rooms procedures, where a day surgery admission is not required.
With the aid of our experienced practice nurse, we make all procedures as comfortable as possible, and have a separate recovery space if patients need some time to rest after their procedure.
In-rooms procedures include, but are not limited to:
- Colposcopy
- Cervical / vaginal skin biopsy
- LLETZ biopsy
- Insertion / removal of Mirena / IUD
- Pessary fitting for vaginal wall / uterine prolapse
Surgical Procedures
Dr Younis has extensive surgical experience and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advances in surgical techniques.
Dr Younis provides a range of surgical services, but has a special interest in:
- Hysteroscopy
- Endometrial Ablation
- Excision of Fibroids
- Cone Biopsy
- Hysterectomy
- Investigative Laparoscopy
Dr Younis operates at 3 different leading private hospitals in Canberra.
Dr Younis does not currently offer any public surgery.
